A perfect companion Calfpride milk powders; feed 1st stage calf from 4 days old to 12 weeks of age.

Introduce a small amount of ECV 1st. Stage Calf Pellets from 4 days of age. Calves are ready to be weaned once they are eating 0.75kg of 1st Stage Calf pellets, normally around 10 weeks old. Feed calves clean straw, fresh water and ad lib 1st Stage Calf Pellets from weening until they are 12 weeks old and then progress onto ECV 2nd Stage Calf Nuts.

2nd Stage Calf Nuts
ECV 2nd Stage Calf Nuts, a 6mm nut, made from top quality ingredients to provide quality protein and high energy to continue growth and healthy gut development. Ideal for replacement heifers, can be fed up to 4 weeks prior to calving.

Feed ECV 2nd Stage Calf Nuts from 12 weeks of age. Feeding rate depends on the quality and quantity of the forage and the desired DLWG. Holstein Heifers target weight for calving at 2 years old is 120kg at 20 weeks old and 180kg at 6 months old. Bulling weight at 15 months should be 360kg. The target DLWG to achieve these figures is just under 0.75kg/day. Do not overfeed compound, feed according to the conditions. The necessary feeding rate is unlikely to be over 1% of the liveweight. Thus a 150kg heifer may need up to 1.5kg/day and a 360kg heifer may need 3.6kg/day.

Calf Coarse Mix
A traditional Calf Coarse Mixture with a high levels of cooked flakes for growing calves  from 3  days  to 10 – 12 weeks old.  High energy,  quality protein and good palatability to  help achieve  the required  DLWG. Contains  a   full  level of vitamins and trace elements.
